Acts 9 Apparel gets its name from scripture, specifically from the book of Acts, chapter 9. Acts 9 shares two powerful stories: the conversion of Saul the Pharisee (taking the name Paul after his baptism) and the miracle of Tabitha (also called Dorcas). You will see Acts 9 Apparel use a gazelle in our logo as “Tabitha” means gazelle in Aramaic, Greek, and Hebrew.
Not only was Tabitha a devoted disciple of Jesus, she was also a seamstress, known for her service in clothing the poor and widowed. Tabitha’s life of faith and charity inspired us to create Acts 9 Apparel; a faith-based clothing brand that shares the Gospel through every design. By literally wearing our faith “on our sleeve,” we hope to help others come to know Jesus and follow Him. Discover Tabitha’s story today in Acts 9:36-42.
